I spotted this on one of the shrubs in early November 2022. The translucent shell captured my attention. Since I didn't know the lifecycle of beetles, I thought the Beetle had either just come out of the egg or was about to die. Later, I discovered that it was a different specie altogether. As you can see, these Beetles are known for #defoliation of trees and plants they infest. Also, Ipomoea triloba or Little Bell is one of the favourite host plants.
